For people that want a little more than just a magician, I have a few other tricks up my sleeve.
The Magician's Apprentice
As you might know, I was a mentor on the multi award winning Channel 4 show ‘Faking It’. In it, I took a forensic scientist and turned him into a magician.
Now, it’s your turn…
With The Magician’s Apprentice, I offer people the chance to learn the secrets of the masters.
The way it works is like this:
Each member of the audience receives their own props (which can be branded with your company’s logo) and, after swearing everybody to secrecy – I teach them all a classic trick.
We then rehearse it and three budding Harry Potters are picked from the audience. They perform the trick and it’s then down to the audience to choose who is worthy of the title ‘Master Magician’ (and the coveted prize…).
Sound exciting? Well, I’ve taken the show all around Europe and the States for audiences of 10 to 2,000 and it never fails to be a fantastic evening.
What’s Magic Bingo? Well, it’s just like normal bingo, but with a twist… The idea with this show is that your guests take part in what they think is a normal game of bingo. Each of them will be handed a card, personalised with your company’s details, and I will be the caller. So far, so simple. But this, of course, is Magic Bingo. Something nobody expects to happen then happens. I can’t tell you here it’d ruin the surprise. But as a corporate bonding exercise, you’d be hard pushed to find anything better.
Magic Workshops allow groups of people to bond whilst learning how to perform some very cool magic tricks. What most people don’t realise is how much magic is about presentation, so having a workshop where these skills can be honed can be great for businesses to take advantage of.
The workshop involves elements of performance, presentation, learning new skills and simply fun (and people love getting to keep all their magic props to show off their skills later).
I love them because they promote both teambuilding and confidence in a uniquely engaging way.
“Nigel is great with clients and a skillful communicator. As well as being a first class magician he is also a very funny man and understands how to balance entertainment and performance with teaching, training and teambuilding. He is very reliable and can think fast on his feet”
